(Robertsdale, Alabama) A cosmetology teacher at South Baldwin Center for Technology, Verna Bennett, surrendered to police on an outstanding warrant to face charges that she inappropriately touched a Foley High School student. Authorities were alerted after the 15-year-old female student told her parents that Bennett had "grabbed her butt." Bennett has been charged with harassment.
Students from around the county attend South Baldwin Center for Technology for part-time career and technical courses.
Bennett was booked into custody and later released on $500 bond.
