Missouri Teacher Arrested for Sexual Contact with Boy

(Hartville, Wright County, Missouri) A 39-year-old kindergarten teacher with the Hartville School District, Katherine D. Hicks, was arrested on Wednesday for alleged sexual contact with a 17-year-old boy on school property.

Hicks faces charges of sexual contact with a minor and furnishing pornographic materials to a minor.

A probable cause statement alleges Hicks and a 17-year-old student kissed and used a cell phone to exchange nude pictures and provocative messages.

The investigation started after the boy's mother complained to police.
