NY Tutor Accused of Sex Abuse

(Irondequoit, New York) A 37-year-old tutor at Bishop Kearney High School, Lisa Marshall, was arrested yesterday for alleged sex abuse of a student. She has been charged with sex abuse and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to police, Marshall took a 15-year-old boy to her home in Irondequoit on February 7th and asked him for sex.

But the story doesn't stop there. Police say Marshall picked up the boy and a female student and took them out to lunch somewhere between January 31st, 2009 and February 7th, 2009.

Investigators say Marshall then brought both the students to her home to hang out. That's when they say she fondled the boy.

Marshall is also accused of showing a sexually explicit cell phone message to two 15-year-old girls at school.

Marshall was booked and released on $1,500 bail. A court appearance is scheduled for March 30th.
