Woman Gets No Jail for Sex with Boy
(Gardnerville, Nevada) A 19-year-old California woman, Heather Ann Grizoffi, pleaded guilty today in Douglas County District Court to one count of misdemeanor statutory sexual seduction stemming from a relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
The boy's family originally reported the relationship in September 2008.
As a result of the guilty plea, Grizoffi was sentenced by Judge Michael Gibbons to 10 days in jail and fined $1,000. Then she was given credit for 10 days served when she was originally arrested. Therefore, she gets no jail.
Grizoffi was also ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and register as a sex offender.
A psychologist determined that Grizoffi was unlikely to commit additional offenses and therefore is not a threat to the community.
