Pennsylvania Teacher Accused of Sexting

(Butler, Pennsylvania) A 33-year-old English teacher formerly at Butler High School, Christine Elizabeth Martin, has been accused of sending inappropriate text messages to two high school students, including an image of exposed female breasts. A 16-year-old male student and a 17-year-old female student allegedly received the text messages.

Police did not say that Martin had a physical relationship with the students, nor that she intended to do so.

Martin was charged with obscene and other sexual materials and performances, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor, according to police.

Martin was booked and released on $25,000.
