(Sao Paulo, Brazil) Fifty bodies have been recovered from the Air France Flight 447 crash site and 11 have been identified.
Five of the first 11 bodies to be identified were Brazilian men, five were Brazilian women and one was a “foreigner of the male sex,” the Public Safety Department of the northeastern state of Pernambuco said in a statement Sunday.The search for the plane's flight data and voice recorders continues over an area with a radius of 50 miles. As of last night, no signals from the black boxes have been detected.
The department did not reveal the nationality of the non-Brazilian victim.
