Death in Chocolate

(Camden, New Jersey) A 29-year-old factory worker, Vincent Smith II, fell into an eight-foot deep vat of chocolate yesterday and died. Smith was standing on a platform above the chocolate melting vat, lost his footing and fell in.

Co-workers tried to pull Smith out but a rotating mixing unit struck him, inflicting a fatal blow.

Preliminary indications are that the death was accidental.
