Florida Teacher Accused of Sex with Boy

(Kissimmee, Florida) A 32-year-old art teacher for the Boys and Girls Club, Melanie Fonseca, was arrested today for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy. She has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery.

Melanie Fonseca was employed at the Boys and Girls Club in Kissimmee as an art teacher. She met her victim during the summer camp held at the location; however, the battery did not occur at the Boys and Girls Club but at a different location.

During the investigation Fonseca admitted to the allegations made against her and detectives obtained an arrest warrant.

Fonseca was booked into custody at the Osceola County Jail without bond.
