(Chillicothe, Ohio) In October 2009, 37-year-old Heather Musgrove pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition of an 11-month-old baby girl in accordance with an agreement with the prosecution. Last week, Musgrove was sentenced by Judge Scott Nusbaum to four years in prison with the "possibility of release after one year providing she was placed into in-patient sex offender counseling." Musgrove was also sentenced to five years of post-release control.
Musgrove will be classified as a Tier II sex offender requiring her to check in with the local sheriff every six months for 25 years.
Ohio Babysitter Accused of Raping Baby Girl

(Chillicothe, Ohio) A 37-year-old local babysitter, Heather Musgrove, has been accused of raping an 11-month-old girl she was caring for. Musgrove has been charged with one count of rape.
According to public information officer Chester “Bud” Lytle, Musgrove had been watching the child at her home Tuesday and after picking the child up, her parents discovered signs their daughter may have been molested.Musgrove was booked into custody at the Ross County Jail with bond set at $50,000. A court appearance is scheduled for August 20.
“Her parents went to change her diaper and found some evidence she may have been molested,” Lytle said.
The child was evaluated at Adena Regional Medical Center where it was determined the child had been digitally penetrated.
