2nd Amendment Tax Holiday

(Baton Rouge, Louisiana) Time to buy a gun.

Shoppers who love the outdoors get a tax break this coming weekend when Louisiana has its "Second Amendment sales tax holiday."

State and local sales taxes are waived on firearms, ammunition and hunting supplies.

The tax holiday was approved by the state Legislature during the regular session earlier this year.

Repeal of the sales tax would be an even better idea.
