NYC Mayor Bloomberg Investigates Out-of-State Gun Shows

(New York City) Mayor Michael Bloomberg ordered an undercover operation of gun shows in Tennessee, Nevada and Ohio to gather evidence that a "loophole" in gun laws allow felons, the mentally unfit and domestic offenders to obtain guns.

The City of New York investigated 7 gun shows in 3 states involving buys from 47 gun sellers using hidden cameras. The investigation videos showed that 35 out of 47 sellers approached by undercover investigators at these gun shows sold guns illegally.

Not everybody is happy with the New York mayor sending spies into other states. As an example, Rep. Zach Wamp (R-TN) said that "Bloomberg and his anti-gun cronies should stay the heck out of Tn."
