70% of Young Americans Unfit for Military

According to a government report titled "Ready, Willing and Unable to Serve," seven out of 10 Americans between the ages of 17 to 24 are unfit for military duty.

Lack of a high school diploma eliminates the greatest percentage of potential recruits followed by criminal records and physical deal-breakers such as obesity.

Sad state of affairs, eh?
