Fugitive Sex Offender Found Dead

(Juneau, Alaska) In February 2009, a former pole vault coach at Brigham Young University, Larry W. Berryhill, was convicted of sexually abusing two underage males at his Alaskan fishing lodge. At sentencing, 64-year-old Berryhill faced five to fifteen years in prison on each of two counts.

However, Berryhill skipped before his scheduled May 4 sentencing. Well, Duh! The guy's 64 and facing a nasty stretch in the slammer. Of course, he's going to flee.

In the latest development regarding fugitive Berryhill, he was found dead in Tunuyan, Argentina. It's not known how he died.
