Sexual Exploitation Leads to License Revocation
(Wausau, Wisconsin) In September 2009, a 32-year-old drug and alcohol counselor at ATTIC Correctional Services in Wausau, Jacqueline Clifton, pleaded guilty to felony sexual exploitation stemming from engaging in sex with her clients
Clifton was sentenced to nine months in jail, 50 hours of community service and five years of probation.
Last week, the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing revoked Clifton's right to renew her therapist's license as a result of the conviction.
