Ohio Woman Accused of Sexual Assault of Female

(Dayton, Ohio) This past week, a 20-year-old local woman, Markita L. Harper, was arrested for the alleged physical and sexual assault of a woman she met through MySpace.

Harper was charged with gross sexual imposition by force, attempted gross sexual imposition, assault, unlawful restraint and unlawful restraint with sexual motivation.

Officers said 20-year-old Markita Harper met the victim at the victim’s Dayton house. She thought it was going to be a friendly meeting; however, officers said Harper had other plans for her online friend.

According to an indictment, Harper allegedly made the woman submit to sexual advances by force or threats of force.

Police said Harper punched the victim repeatedly, and when the victim tried to get outside of her home, Harper pulled her back in.

According to investigators, a friend stopped by and had to physically get Harper off of the victim.

Harper was booked into custody without bond.
