(Tehran, Iran) According to Iran's state news agencies, the nation launched a new home-made guided missile destroyer today.The new vessel, called Jamaran, has the capacity to carry about 120 people and is armed with surface-to-air missiles, torpedoes and modern naval cannons, Iran's Press TV reported.Notably, Iran has been known to exaggerate when boasting of its military capabilities.
