(Sandy, Utah) A 41-year-old cafeteria lady at Eastmont Middle School, Jamie Lynn Greenwood, has been arrested for alleged multiple counts of sexual abuse of a school boy over a period of nine months.
Reportedly, Greenwood admitted the offenses which she said occurred in her car and her house.
From March 2009 until January 2010, Greenwood "engaged in unlawful sexual activity" with a boy, now 16, jail records state. The victim was a friend of Greenwood's son, according to jail records.Greenwood was booked into custody at the Salt Lake County Jail. She is expected to face felony charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
It was unclear Tuesday if any sexual activity occurred while the boy was still a student at the middle school. Sandy police released a statement that said "her position as a lunch room supervisor did not aid in the relationship."
The victim said he was "forced" into performing multiple sex acts with Greenwood because she threatened "to tell his mother and friends what was going on between them," jail documents state.
Greenwood also bought the boy hundreds of dollars worth of gifts "and then said he had to repay her in sexual favors," the report states.
