Alleged Cornhusker Earbiter

(Lincoln, Nebraska) A 24-year-old local woman, Anna Godfrey, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly being oversensitive regarding her weight. She was collared for felony assault after attacking a guy who said she was fat.

According to the Lincoln Police Department, the victim and two of his friends were not getting along with others at the party so they decided to leave, but on the way out the gentlemen got into one last verbal altercation with the other partygoers.

Numerous insults were thrown across the front lawn of the Lincoln home. One of the men called Anna Godfrey "fat" - which was apparently too much for her to swallow.

Police say Godfrey ran half a block to catch up with them, and then tackled Christian Bandiola. Once there, police say she bit his right ear and caused a gash approximately 1/2"x 3/4" wide - sort of…chunk-sized.

Unfortunately, the ear parts could not be located so Mr. Bandiola had to undergo a plastic surgery repair. Meanwhile, Ms. Godfrey was booked into custody at the Lancaster County Jail.

So far, there's no confirmation of the rumor that Mr. Bandiola said "Bite me!" to Ms. Godfrey.
