(Tampa, Florida) A 30-year-old assistant principal at Middleton High School, Lauren S. Tilo, was arrested today for allegedly sending naked pictures of herself to a 14-year-old boy. Tilo has been charged with transmission of material harmful to a minor.
The teenage boy went to officials at his school in Manatee Wednesday, and said that Tilo had sent him a cell phone text message with a photo attached of "her in a provocative and sexual pose," according to a sheriff's report. Detectives determined the photo had been sent on March 7.Tilo was booked into custody at the Hillsborough County Jail. A bail amount wasn't reported.
Tilo and the boy met online in February while playing a video game, and they became friends, the boy told detectives. The boy said they told each other their ages. Investigators do not believe the two have ever met face to face, according to the Manatee sheriff's report.
