Riverboat Snags Car with Corpse

(Ybbs, Austria) In March 2007, professional driver Herbert Mistelbacher vanished without a trace and he has been listed as a missing person ever since. That is, until last week, allegedly.
A Dutch sailor weighing anchor in Austria's Danube river dialed 999 when he hauled up a BMW car - with the dead driver still behind the steering wheel.

The captain of the Dutch riverboat Janny had stopped near an hydroelectric power plant and had lowered the anchor, say police in Ybbs.

But when he raised it, he brought up what was once a brand-new BMW company [car] with the corpse of the driver still in the driving seat.
It has not been reported how the car and the corpse, presumably Mr. Mistelbacher, ended up in the Danube.
