Tennessee Woman Accused of Rape of Boy

(Putnam County, Tennessee) A 25-year-old local "homeless" woman, Kristine Ann Kidder, was arrested yesterday for allegedly engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Kidder has been charged with aggravated statutory rape and sexual battery.

The grand jury indictment alleges that Kidder engaged in sex with a 15-year-old boy between March 5 and May 23 of this year.

The indictment also alleges that Kidder "knew or had reason to know at the time of the contact that the victim is mentally defective, mentally incapacitated or physically helpless."

Kidder was booked into custody at the Putnam County Jail with bond set at $30,000.
