Alabama Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Andalusia, Alabama) A 23-year-old local woman, Amanda Lynn Cook, was arrested this week for allegedly engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy.

Reportedly, Covington County Sheriff’s deputies caught Cook and the boy in flagrante dilecto at a local campground in the early morning hours.

Reports indicate, “When deputies approached the pair, it was apparent the two had been engaged in consensual sexual activity.” […]

Cook is charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy and possession of obscene matter containing visual depiction of a person under 17 after she was found to have an explicit photo of the juvenile on her cell phone.

Cook was booked into custody at the Covington County Jail and later released on $30,000 bond.
