(Kodiak, Alaska) A 22-year-old local woman, Cheyserr V. Miller, was sentenced earlier this month after she pleaded guilty to second-degree sex abuse of a 12-year-old girl.
Miller was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 10 years suspended.
Miller had a history of sexual contact with the victim, according to police reports.Miller was ordered to register as a sex offender and is barred from contact with any females under 18 when released. She also won't be able to use the Internet or cell phones without permission.
The victim’s father obtained a sexual assault protective order barring contact between Miller and his daughter.
Last February, Kodiak police detectives were enforcing the order investigating complaints when they discovered the two kissing in a parked car in front of the cemetery on Chichenoff Street.
