Alaskan Woman Gets Prison for Child Sex Abuse

(Kodiak, Alaska) A 22-year-old local woman, Cheyserr V. Miller, was sentenced earlier this month after she pleaded guilty to second-degree sex abuse of a 12-year-old girl.

Miller was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 10 years suspended.
Miller had a history of sexual contact with the victim, according to police reports.

The victim’s father obtained a sexual assault protective order barring contact between Miller and his daughter.

Last February, Kodiak police detectives were enforcing the order investigating complaints when they discovered the two kissing in a parked car in front of the cemetery on Chichenoff Street.
Miller was ordered to register as a sex offender and is barred from contact with any females under 18 when released. She also won't be able to use the Internet or cell phones without permission.
