(Waco, Texas) On Thursday, 25-year-old Leslie Klemansky was found guilty by a jury on all counts stemming from a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
Klemansky was convicted on one count of sexual assault of a child and two counts of sexual performance by a child.
Yesterday, Klemansky was taken into custody after being sentenced to five years in prison and a $2,500 fine on the sexual assault of a child charge. She also received six years in prison and a $2,500 fine on each of the two sexual performance charges. The sentences are to be served concurrently.

(Waco, Texas) In March 2010, a 24-year-old softball coach formerly at McLennan Community College, Leslie Klemansky, was indicted in federal court on charges of coercion and enticement to have sex with a 15-year-old girl from Kansas.
According to a search warrant affidavit filed in McLennan County court, Klemansky met the alleged victim last June during a hitting camp at the University of Oklahoma and gave the girl her business card.Klemansky bonded out of jail after her arrest last December.
The girl texted Klemansky, who then told the girl she was a lesbian and was interested in her, the affidavit states.
At Klemansky’s request, the girl sent her a nude photo of herself, the affidavit states.
The girl, who lives out of state, told police that Klemansky told her she loved her and wanted to take her to Hawaii and marry her, and the two engaged in phone sex, the affidavit states.
Yesterday (7/7/10), Klemansky was indicted by a McLennan County grand jury on one count of sexual assault of a child and two counts of sexual performance of a child, all stemming from the relationship with the girl from Kansas.
