(Stockton, California) A 28-year-old administrative clerk at Stagg High School, Teresa Salcedo, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly engaging in sex with a 17-year-old male student.
According to Stockton Unified Police Chief Jim West, Salcedo faces charges of felony unlawful sex with a minor, misdemeanor unlawful sex and child molestation.
Salcedo was arrested at her job at Stagg High School without incident, West said.Slacedo was booked into custody with bail set at $18,000.
West said investigators determined at least one sexual encounter happened at a private residence, but it was unclear whether there were other meetings between Salcedo and the student.
"None of the alleged activity took place on school district property," West said. West said there were not believed to be any other victims in case.
