(Memphis, Tennessee) A 33-year-old English teacher at East High School, Emily Tubb aka Emily Magill, is in federal custody after being arrested earlier today on an outstanding warrant.

After receiving a tip, authorities discovered Tubb hiding out and cooking up a batch of methamphetamine at a local Motel 6.

In March, Tubb was arrested after being caught at two meth houses. She was subsequently indicted for possession with intent to distribute Adderall, Alprazolam (i.e. Xanax) and heroin. About the same time, Tubb was suspended without pay from her position with Memphis City Schools.

Tubb's former husband, Mark Magill, also faces drug charges for allegedly manufacturing methamphetamine. The status and likely future of their two children is presently indeterminate.
