Coffeehouse Cancels Leftist 9/11 Event

(Alton, Illinois) The owner of GeGee's coffeehouse, Jim Allen, has canceled plans made by the Riverbend Chapter of the Coffee Party, the liberal answer to the Tea Party, to host a 9/11 event featuring a Muslim speaker at his establishment.

Mr. Allen refuses to allow any religious or political events to be held on his property. He wants to sell coffee to everyone and not alienate any segment of the marketplace.

Nevertheless, a spokesman for the Coffee Party has weighed in by alleging that Mr. Allen is discriminating against his group (see video here).
