(Stearns County, Minnesota) A 31-year-old local woman, Nyachual Lungdicok Poch, has been accused of killing her toddler son, 22 months old.
Poch faces a charge of second-degree murder.
A court complaint charging Poch accuses her of beating the boy with a shoe because he was crying, causing lacerations to the boy’s liver.Poch was booked in to custody with bail set at $1 million.
An autopsy also revealed past injuries to the child, according to court records.
Stearns County District Court Judge Kris Davick-Halfen ordered a mental competency exam of Poch.
