(Newport, North Carolina) A 27-year-old local woman, Kandy Leigh Brock, has been arrested by Carteret County Sheriff's deputies for engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy.Brock faces charges of four counts of indecent liberties by a substitute parent. The alleged sexual episodes reportedly occurred between June and October.
Notably, Brock has had previous troubles with the law. Since 2002, she has been convicted on counts of breaking and entering, larceny and driving without a license.
Brock was booked into custody at the Carteret County Jail with bond set at $75,000.
