Oregon Woman Accused of Embezzlement

(Lake Oswego, Oregon) A 45-year-old local woman, Ranae Mason, has been arrested for allegedly embezzling over $80,000 from youth sports and parent-teacher organizations.

Mason faces five counts of aggravated theft and one count of theft.

Mason purported to be a CPA who volunteered as the treasurer for these three organizations. She is alleged to have transferred approximately $84,000 through the three entities bank accounts into her personal bank account.

Mason was booked into custody at the Clackamas County Jail with bail set at $140,000.
