Alabama Teacher Gets Prison in Sex Case - Updated

(Andalusia, Alabama) Teacher Amy Kathleen Caudle, 31, pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree sodomy for sexually abusing students.

As a result, Caudle was sentenced to prison.
According to Chief Assistant District Attorney Grace Jeter, Caudle was sentenced to two terms of fifteen years in prison to be served concurrently.

Considering time Caudle has already served in jail, she will spend three more years behind bars followed by 12 years of supervised probation.

Caudle's plea agreement also requires her to submit her resignation to the Andalusia City School District, surrender her teaching certificate and teaching license, register as a sex offender and submit a DNA sample.
So, she was sentenced to two 15-year terms in prison, to be served concurrently, and she gets out in three years. I don't understand the math.
