(Fayetteville, North Carolina) A 27-year-old local woman, Crystal Gail Tompkins, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy repeatedly between August and September 2010.Tompkins faces six counts each of statutory rape, statutory sex offenses and crimes against nature. She is also charged with obstruction for allegedly trying to bribe a witness.
The boy told investigators that Tompkins had given him marijuana and bought him a cell phone, according to the paperwork.Tompkins was booked into custody with bond set at $955,000.
