Teacher Accused of Making Death Threat

(Stockbridge, Michigan) A female teacher at Stockbridge High School, Lynnette Brown, has been accused of threatening to kill her principal.

Brown resigned her teaching position after an investigation was launched.

Brown had been on paid leave since Jan. 28, when police reported she told two teacher union representatives she would “off” herself and Principal Karl Heidrich.[…]

At the time of the reported threats, Heidrich had just suspended Brown for two weeks for showing an R-rated movie, “The Butterfly Effect,” to an advanced psychology class of mostly seniors. She did not have parental or administrative approval to do so, according to a Jan. 31 letter sent to Lynnette Brown.

Security at the school has been heightened.
