Texas Woman Gets 25 Years Prison - Updated

(Lufkin, Texas) Yesterday, Natalie Johnson tearfully apologized as Judge Barry Bryan sentenced her to 25 years in prison.

(Lufkin, Texas) Natalie Deshan Johnson, now 33, has pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child stemming from engaging in sex with a 13-year-old boy.

Without any plea agreement, Johnson admitted her guilt before Judge Barry Bryan.

The boy told investigators he had sex with Johnson three times at Ewing Park at the State Highway 103 East bridge and three or four times at her apartment in Diboll.[…]

The boy gave the same statements in interviews with sheriff's office investigators and at the Angelina Alliance for Children.

A sentencing date has yet to be determined. In any event, it's understood that Johnson will be required to register as a sex offender.

(Angelina County, Texas) A 32-year-old local woman, Natalie Deshan Johnson, was arrested yesterday for allegedly engaging in sex with a 13-year-old boy.

Johnson faces a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

According to the affidavit, the boy was staying with his grandparents on Aug. 6 and 7 when they told his parents that he was missing.

The boy told his parents that he had slipped away from their residence and Johnson picked him up and took him to his apartment, where he stayed the night of Aug. 6 and had sex with her that night and the next morning. She dropped him off in Moffett later that day, where he called his grandfather to pick him up, he said.

The boy's parents then questioned him about his disappearance, and he told them about his sexual relationship with Johnson.

Johnson was booked into custody at the Angelina County Jail. A bond amount hasn't been reported.
