(Berlin, Germany) The newly-elected Berlin state parliament has proposed banning the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club due to its links to organized criminal operations.
Berlin would be the second German state to pass such a ban. The state of Hesse shut down two branches of the group in September.Representatives of the Green Party, the Socialist Left Party, the Social Democrat Party and the Christian Democrat Union have all expressed strong support for the proposed Berlin ban.
