- It is now illegal for minors to use tanning beds.Meanwhile, a seething controversy is developing regarding a federal crackdown on the ubiquitous availability of marijuana in California.
- State agencies are now required to read new regulations and estimate cost of implementation.
- California hospitals will be required to formally promote breastfeeding.
