California Woman Gets Prison for Sex with Boy, 12 - Update
(Orange County, California) Fountain Valley woman Patricia Ann Serrano, 45, pleaded guilty last month to lewd acts with a child under 14, forgery and attempted petty theft.
As a result, Serrano was sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
For the forgery, Serrano received two years in prison that will be served concurrently with her six-year sentence, according to the district attorney's office.Heh.
The victim was friends with Serrano's son, prosecutors said. In addition to sending the boy sexual text messages, Serrano had sex with him twice in October 2011 — once in her home and once in her car.
At one point, the boy's mom became suspicious when she discovered her son and Serrano together in a locked room. At some point thereafter, the mother reported Serrano to the police.

(Orange County, California) A 43-year-old local woman, Patricia Ann Serrano, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 12-year-old boy, her son's friend.
Serrano faces charges of lewd acts on a child under 14 with a sentencing enhancement for substantial sexual conduct with a child.
In October, Serrano allegedly had sex with the boy twice -- in a car and in her home, according to the district attorney' office.Serrano was booked into custody with bond set at $100,000.
The boy's mother discovered Serrano in a room with the victim. Serrano had allegedly been kissing the boy, but the mother did not observe any wrongdoing, the district attorney's office said. The mother became suspicious and alerted police.
