Kentucky Teacher Accused of Sex with Male Student

(Mayfield, Kentucky) A 38-year-old Spanish teacher at Graves County High School, Amy Noles, has been accused of engaging in sex with a male student.

Noles faces one count of first-degree sexual abuse.

The superintendent said for now, the district has placed Noles on unpaid administrative leave. Her future at the school depends on the outcome of the investigation.

At this point, investigators aren't saying much. They had no comment on the nature of the relationship, where it occurred or how long it had been going on.

While authorities aren't saying much about the alleged relationship, the superintendent said a little about the alleged victim. He said he believes only one student had inappropriate relations with Noles. That student is a male and he's under the age of 18.

Noles currently resides in custody at the Graves County Jail.
