
Mast's blood-alcohol level was tested at 0.20, more than twice the legal limit. According to school system official David Barnes
"They were one their way to an athletic event (with a) high school team. The coach realized there was some erratic driving behavior," Barnes said.Mast was booked into custody at the Howard County Criminal Justice Center on a felony DWI charge.
"We then transferred the children and the coaches to a different bus and took them on to the event."
