(Columbus, Georgia) A 44-year-old teacher at Veterans Memorial Middle School, Christina Preston, has been accused of sexual contact with a 14-year-old male student.Preston faces counts of child molestation, enticing a child for indecent purposes and sexual assault against persons in custody.
A police report titled “Statutory Rape” involving a 14-year-old boy victim who attends Preston’s school was filed on Monday.Preston was booked into custody at the Muscogee County Jail without bond.
According to that report, the statutory rape occurred about 12:30 a.m. Monday at Cooper Creek Park, 4816 Milgen Road.
Police were called to the boy’s home about 10 p.m. Monday, reports state.
