I have a complaint. The mainstream media are doing an incomplete reporting job with respect to illegal aliens. I was born in the continental United States and I've not attempted to change my nationality. As such and understandably so, every time I've ventured to foreign countries I have been introduced and pointed out as an American. I have lived in and visited several countries in Europe and Latin America. Every circumstance with foreigners included a complete understanding that I was an American. I have never been called an undocumented worker. Why is it that somebody can enter the United States from somewhere [list almost all countries in the world] and not have the media nor the authorities identify national origin? Day in and day out the public is blanketed with stories of undocumented workers/aliens, non-citizens, illegal workers, suspects on immigration hold and other non-descriptive identifiers about people of foreign origin who have illegally entered the American abyss and made news. Never are the trespassers, an arguable contention, within the population given the privilege of someone actually stating nationality. As an aside, I'm reminded of an old story of a man without a country. As a general rule, it requires a public renouncement and a bit of official okey-dokey. Otherwise, one is still considered to be of that, whatever it is, particular nationality. In any event, the media and the authorities are not being completely truthful to the American public. Foreign citizens are surreptitiously entering the United States and average Americans are not being told where they originate. It would be naive to ignore the political agenda involved. Just from an elbow-to-elbow perspective of the interlopers, they never forget that they are Mexican, Guatemalan, Peruvian, Mongolian, Moroccan, Nigerian, Brazilian, Cuban, Haitian, and on and on. [Add.] By the way, if a foreign national sneaks into the U.S. to masturbate in front of women while making animal noises, it would be nice to know which foreign embassy to complain to. We don't need any illegal jerkoffs. We're overloaded with the homegrown variety already. Tip: slwion |
