Iowa: More Guns, No Problems

(Woodbury County, Iowa) A 2011 change in Iowa law makes it easier to obtain a concealed weapon permit. As a result, the number of permit-holders has jumped.

The Sheriff's Office says while there has been a significant increase in the number of gun permits issued in Woodbury County, they're not necessarily seeing any additional problems with guns.

It's somewhat early to draw conclusions but I suspect the lack of problems will continue.
