PA Woman Accused of Child Sex Abuse

(Scranton, Pennsylvania) Earlier this month, a 28-year-old local woman, Waleska Guadalupe, was arrested on charges of statutory sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and corruption of a minor stemming from a prolonged sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.

Guadalupe was booked into custody at the Lackawanna County Prison and subsequently released on bail.

This week, Guadalupe was arrested again, this time for repeatedly performing sex acts on a seven-year-old boy.

Authorities learned of the abuse during an interview with the boy at the Children's Advocacy Center last week, according to the complaint.

During the interview with a CAC employee, the child said the abuse made him feel nervous, and he would sometimes hide from Ms. Guadalupe to avoid repeat occurrences.

Guadalupe was booked into custody with additional bail set at $25,000. A court appearance is scheduled for March 28.
