Virginia School Bus Driver and Boy, 15

(Chesterfield, Virginia) A 44-year-old school bus driver at Chester Middle School, Tracy H. Allanson, was convicted yesterday of taking indecent liberties with a minor, a charge stemming from engaging in sex with a 15-year-old male student.

On May 6, 2009, when Allanson was 41 and the boy was 15, they went into a wooded area where Allanson performed oral sex on the boy and allowed him to fondle her genitals, said Chesterfield prosecutor David Rigler.

Allanson initially denied having a sexual relationship in an interview with police, but she eventually acknowledged the sexual contact, saying she did so because he was curious about sex. She told police the boy was infatuated with her.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 7.
