Georgia Teacher Caught Unpeachy

(Rockdale County, Georgia) A 36-year-old language arts teacher at Newton County High School, Kathern Laura Green, has been accused of drug and alcohol offenses after being pulled over by a Rockdale County deputy for speeding.

Green faces charges of DUI, possession of cocaine, failure to maintain lane and open container.
Green denied she had been drinking but registered a .14 on a portable blood alcohol sensor and was arrested, the report stated. Georgia's legal limit for DUI is .08

The arresting deputy also reported finding a cup of red wine and a plastic bag containing about 2 grams of powder cocaine in her vehicle, the newspaper said.
Green was booked into custody at the Rockdale County Jail and later released.
