Ohio Woman Gets Prison for Raping Boy, 7 - Update

(Hamilton County, Ohio) Alicia Gaston pleaded guilty on December 11 to raping a six-year-old boy. As a result, Gaston has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

(Hamilton County, Ohio) A 20-year-old local woman, Alicia Gaston, has been accused of engaging in sex with her boyfriend's seven-year-old son.

Gaston faces one count of rape.

Cincinnati police say Gaston has confessed to engaging in sexual intercourse with the boy on April 10, 2011.

A state entity charged with protecting children said they never knew of the incident, or why it took so long for the case to be reported.

Gaston was booked into custody with bond set at $75,000.
