(Albany, Oregon) A 51-year-old library aide at South Albany High School, Heidi Hyre, has been accused of sending sexually explicit texts to three male students.
Hyre faces charges of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct, encouraging child sex abuse, luring a minor, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor and third-degree sex abuse.
According to Lt. Brad Liles, detectives interviewed three South Albany students who said they exchanged in sexually explicit text messages with Hyre.Hyre was booked into custody yesterday afternoon.
One of the boys also said he had a sexual encounter with Hyre in her car in December 2011. They were parked about two miles from the high school, Liles said.
All three students were 17 when police say the incidents occurred.
