(Salem, Ohio) Last week, 24-year-old local woman Miranda Todd was found guilty on charges of murder and child endangering in the death of her seven-month-old baby.
As a result:
She was sentenced to 15 years-to-life on the murder charge and three years on the child endangering charge. The sentences are to be served consecutively.A teary-eyed Todd claimed she didn't hurt her son.
Prosecutors said Todd's son, Derek Dennison, arrived at the Salem Community Hospital in July 2010 with skull and rib fractures, and they were unable to revive the boy.
