NH Woman Accused of Long-Term Child Sex Abuse

(Farmington, New Hampshire) A 51-year-old local woman, Laura Faas, has been accused of an extended-term sex assault of an 11-year-old boy.

Faas faces charges of aggravated felonious sexual assault, felonious sexual assault, false imprisonment and witness tampering.

Police said it is alleged that Faas had sexual contact with the boy for several years, held the boy down at least once and also told him not to tell anyone about what was happening or else she would go to jail.

Police said more charges could be added as their investigation continues.

Faas was booked into custody at the Strafford County House of Corrections with bail set at $15,000.
