Oklahoma Teacher Gets No Jail for Rape of Student - Update

(McAlester, Oklahoma) Last month, former Quinton High School teacher Andrea Antrich pleaded no contest to engaging in an ongoing sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30 of 2012.
Antrich, 24, of Quinton was originally charged in December with five counts of second-degree rape, she faced up to 15 years for each count.

After pleading no contest, Antrich was sentenced to a 10-year suspended sentence and the rest of the charges were dismissed, court records state.
Reportedly, the sex occurred at her home after school hours.

(McAlester, Oklahoma) A 24-year-old substitute teacher at Quinton High School, Andrea Antrich, has been accused of raping a 17-year-old male student.

Antrich faces five counts of second-degree rape.
Quinton Police Chief Tim Reavis was called to Quinton High School on Nov. 29 regarding allegations that a teacher had been having a sexual relationship with a student, according to a police affidavit.

While interviewing the student, Reavis determined that Antrich and the student had allegedly had an on-going sexual relationship at her home after school hours.

“I then told Miss Antrich of the allegations and asked her if they were true,” Reavis states in the affidavit, “and she stated yes that she and the student did have a sexual relationship.
